Privacy Policy
Musea: VR Art Museum · HappyFire Engine LLC · Effective date: July 19, 2026
HappyFire Engine LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops and publishes Musea: VR Art Museum (the “App”), a virtual reality experience for Meta Quest headsets. This policy explains what information the App does and does not collect.
Summary
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no profiles, and no servers that store anything about you. We have no ability to identify you or track your use of the App.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, or contact information
- Meta account information, user IDs, or display names
- Payment or financial information
- Precise or approximate location data
- Audio, microphone recordings, camera imagery, or passthrough imagery
- Eye-tracking, face-tracking, or body-tracking data
- Usage analytics, behavioral profiles, or advertising identifiers
- Crash reports or diagnostic telemetry sent to us
We do not use cookies for tracking, do not operate an analytics service, and do not sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone, because we do not have any.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App may store small amounts of technical data locally on your headset, such as cached artwork images and audio files so the experience loads quickly, and your in-app preferences such as volume and viewing height. This information stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its storage.
3. Third-Party Content Requests
When you use the App’s search feature, your headset requests artwork images and information directly from public cultural-heritage services, primarily Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons, which are operated by the Wikimedia Foundation. These requests contain your search terms and standard technical information such as your IP address, as any web request does. They do not contain your name, account, or any identifier created by us. Those services handle such requests under their own privacy policies, available at foundation.wikimedia.org.
4. Hosting
The App’s content is delivered by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver content and protect against abuse. We do not use this information to identify individual users, and we do not combine it with anything else.
5. Meta Platform
The App is distributed through the Meta Horizon Store. Your account, purchase, and download are handled by Meta Platforms, Inc. under Meta’s own privacy policy, and we receive no personal information from Meta about you.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Use of Meta Quest devices is also subject to Meta’s own age requirements.
7. Data Security
All content is delivered over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Because the App holds no personal information on any server we operate, there is no personal data of yours for us to lose or expose.
8. Your Rights
Privacy laws in regions including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a company holds about you. We hold no personal information about you, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete. If you have a question or wish to confirm this, contact us at the address below and we will respond.
9. Changes to This Policy
If the App’s data practices ever change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above before the change takes effect.
